My first thought was the deceased worked at sellafield nuclear plant ;) However the link explains he was killed in the WWI.

Keep us up dated, Seth. I'm curious to know the official explanation.

I know a couple of people who live in the village and they say that the gravestone has been glowing as long as they can remember - the council were trying to say that it was the new street lights that caused it
- but they said it glowed before the streetlights were there
Might be interesting to go up during a powercut to see what I can see ;)

That is interesting!

If the source is a street light reflecting onto the headstone you can stand between the headstone and the light source, that would stop it glowing. It doesn't look as if its light reflection to me. although the top half of the headstone looks a lot brighter then the bottom.

*Right on Seth,
...Interesing one alright...ESPECIALLY with Local people's History combing out 'the official' debunkers. Wonder what you'll find with the 'Lights off' huh?
You'd have thought...that 'THAT' would already have been tried locally though. Must be a lot more to this...so you get the 'Appointment' as Cheif Historian/paranormal investigator par exellence :)
...Next year on the 'Queens's' birthday you'll be honored for your 'problem solving/anomolous happenings sleuthing.
But...YEP we'd all 'really' be interested in what YOU might turn up on this. What's really behind this After 'Passing' 'AFTER GLOW'? Don't think there's another 'case' like it in the Annals. I haven't heard of anything similar.
Good one....Thanks/'S'

*Hey Morph,
...Isn't it peculiar though...how 'Mainstream Science/etc.' can IGNORE such a 'stand out' anomaly as this?
Hope our 'Man on the Beat'/SETH...can come to the rescue here. Maybe we could all join up with him, before and after at the Local Pub? We need to 'Toast' his engagement anyway................right? :)

Its wrong time of year for viewing now as you need pitch black conditions really - best on a warm winters night as it is a bit exposed to the elements - but will keep you up to date on it :)

There is no better way to get to the bottom of this strange happening than sat in a local watering hole discussing our plan of attack. At the same time we could raise our glasses to our roving reporter on his recent engagement.

Thanks for keeping us up dated....Seth

Still glowing strongly..
Just spoke to the guy who lives in the village and he said he was looking at it a couple of weeks back - apparently you have to be stood in a certain position -a couple of yard wide - to see the 'glow'
and preferebly on a night when the moon is not in the sky :)

*Hmmm Seth,
Interesting ANGLE to this then. Well, 'You've got the call' on this one. Thanks for the update/'S' :)
