*You said; hmm, Skylark, I know that you are busy on a revamp for this site, but alas 2013 looks like a good year to hibernate. At least for part of the year. *'Sweeps' NOTE: ...I'll ignore that Simon, and take on the 'FATE' challenge. Don't really conceive of STRONG changes as suggested & neither does my 'crystal ball' nor my inner sense/subconscious. Changes are coming...but not in cataclysmic Cosmic events in the near future. So, no to hibernation or 'kicking back' on planned Forum changes. I do like your humor and grand committment to hype and keeping us all informed on 'maddness' from your collection of 'games people play'. That is NOT to say you are not a well intentioned and quite sensible fellow...that other 10% of the time-Joke/'S' ;)/>/>

Well now, strong changes? Only in the context that people on many groups and discussion forums where ascension and what was to be expected are now bickering and going deeply into a "were we duped?" mode.

Certainly it does seem that nothing has happened, yet I am not totally sure that this is so.

I need time, it seems to be that something *has* changed - but its subtle; under the skin, as it were.

Whats more, on re-reading some older messages (elsewhere, not here) it seems that this is exactly what people were told to expect and that the 'shift' phase will continue through to 21st September 2013, plus that the main changes (balanced, more harmonious planet, without war, without 4D parasites feeding off us, etc) will take some time to fully manifest. As one source said well in advance of 21st December, the 'old' energies will die hard, constantly trying to reinvent themselves and how things are done, and constantly failing...

In the meantime, an Australian psychic is predicting that in 2013 scientists will notice (and go public with) evidence of rapid changes within human DNA which suggests that we really are mutating / evolving! http://www.vinemediu...Human-Evolution

OK, just as one good omen does not necessarily mean a happy ending so one psychic's utterances do not make the prediction reality. Therefore we must wait and see if this event becomes manifest. If it does then it will be significant.

Simon (who was hoping for a NDE type experience, as he has [personal] questions which remain unanswered).

*’Sweeps’ NOTE:
…Yes All, ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR’ AND hogmanay…for those ‘Scotland heading’. Let’s all hope for a better year ahead…and stayed tuned with us, things…are on the way/’Sweeps’

**Thought for the day:

‘I don’t want to play in your yard, won’t you come and play in mine’? Be as children/’S’

AND-if interested...The Origins of Hogmanay
Aguid New Year to ane an` a` and mony may ye see!

While New Year's Eve is celebrated around the world, the Scots have a long rich heritage associated with this event - and have their own name for it, Hogmanay.

There are many theories about the derivation of the word "Hogmanay". The Scandinavian word for the feast preceding Yule was "Hoggo-nott" while the Flemish words (many have come into Scots) "hoog min dag" means "great love
day".

*DON’T FORGET THE SONG-LINK BELOW….’AULD LANG SYNE’

…AND ‘OF COURSE’…’HAPPY NEW YEAR’ FOLKS/LINK

Hogmanay could also be traced back to the Anglo-Saxon, Haleg monath, Holy Month, or the Gaelic, oge maidne, new morning. But the most likely source seems to be the French.

"Homme est né" or "Man is born" while in France the last day of the year when gifts were exchanged was "aguillaneuf" while in Normandy presents given at that time were "hoguignetes". Take your pick!

In Scotland a similar practice to that in Normandy was recorded, rather disapprovingly, by the Church.

"It is ordinary among some Plebians in the South of Scotland, to go about from door to door upon New Year`s Eve, crying Hagmane."
Scotch Presbyterian Eloquence, 1693.

Hogmanay Traditional Celebrations
Historians believe that we inherited the celebration from the Vikings who, coming from even further north than ourselves, paid even more attention to the passing of the shortest day. In Shetland, where the Viking influence was strongest, New Year is called Yules, from the Scandinavian word.

It may not be widely known but Christmas was not celebrated as a festival and virtually banned in Scotland for around 400 years, from the end of the 17th century to the 1950s. The reason for this has its roots in the Protestant Reformation when the Kirk portrayed Christmas as a Popish or Catholic feast and therefore had to be banned. Many Scots had to work over Christmas and their winter solstice holiday was therefore at New Year when family and friends gathered for a party and exchange presents, especially for the children, which came to be called hogmanay.

There are traditions before midnight such as cleaning the house on 31st December (including taking out the ashes from the fire in the days when coal fires were common). There is also the superstition to clear all your debts before "the bells" at midnight.

Immediately after midnight it is traditional to sing Robert Burns' "For Auld Lang Syne". Burns claimed it was based on an earlier fragment and certainly the tune was in print over 80 years before he published his version in 1788.

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot and auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o kindness yet, for auld lang syne."

An integral part of the Hogmanay partying, which continues very much today, is to welcome friends and strangers, with warm hospitality and of course a kiss to wish everyone a Guid New Year. The underlying belief is to clear out the vestiges of the old year, have a clean break and welcome in a young, New Year on a happy note.

"First footing" (that is, the "first foot" in the house after midnight) is still common in Scotland. To ensure good luck for the house, the first foot should be male, dark (believed to be a throwback to the Viking days when blond strangers arriving on your doorstep meant trouble) and should bring symbolic coal, shortbread, salt, black bun and whisky. These days, however, whisky and perhaps shortbread are the only items still prevalent (and available).

Further to what I said on 26th December, the best way I can describe what seems to have happened on the 21st was that the very fabric of reality changed / shifted. OK, the physical plane still seems the same, but the rest of reality (the non-physical / subtle / whatever) is not as it was before.

As for the questions I wanted to have answered in a NDE, some (but not all) have now been answered by my colleague in the 10 week job I've had from January to March 2013. Its not that I asked him directly, but whilst in discussion he sometimes said things which effectively told me what I wanted to know without having asked a question.

*Sounds interesting Simon,
...But you're being enigmatic/mysterious. You'll have to expand...tell us more, if you don't want this 'feeling'/cum experience left in Limbo somewhere.

Think we'd all like to hear about it in more detail. I CAN relate to part of that...and have had personal experiences you wouldn't believe about 'changing 'Reality' happenings. TRUE, but wonder if they 'match' at all with your 'things'?

At times...seems as though I've tripped in and out of different beginnings and endings of scenes, as though going from one 'Alternate' Universe to another and back again. Or, did I come back...fully? I do know how 'bonkers' that sounds alright. If I'd heard that from another person...what the Hell would I think type of thing.

It's been like that...heading into mid March now.

A lot of it is in conversations...or hearing conversations...whereby the whole scene changes and what's been said hasn't, and what is said becomes different and the new 'reality'. Quite strange.

Mostly would like to figure out what's been happening with my 'Journies' back and forth, and if others have the same story to tell/relate to. Hmmm huh?

Thanks for your follow up...but it's kind of testy and teasing. HEY/'S' :)

hmm, its hard, I'm trying to not be enigmatic/mysterious but I do not have the words...

I spent a few days trying to grab the air, which I know sounds silly, but its just that the very fabric of the air / atmosphere / everything there was outside the physical materiality felt different. I could tell that whatever had changed was almost certainly something subtle, but thats all.

I have sort of 'got used to' the new normal so that I no longer notice it. I am assuming that our physical reality will be changing too, albeit exactly when, and how remains unknown. This is partly why I am wondering about the spring Equinox, although I do not want to front-load myself with expectations and ideas, as once again I might end up looking in the wrong direction and totally missing whatever does come to pass. (that is, if anything does happen).

Your experiences sound far more profound than mine, which suggests that you are further along 'the road', so to speak. Perhaps previous employments saw you being given specialist training to enhance and use such abilities.

I've also had a few moments where I feel sure that I did something a while ago yet now cannot find evidence that I did - primarily thinking about updates to my web site which the web pages no longer seem to reflect, and something I could swear I filmed for my youtube channel but also cannot now find. Its as if the time-stream itself changed

re the 'bonkers' bit, yes well its only my insanity which keeps me sane. LOL

btw, over recent weeks I've had a few enigmatic dreams... I need to write them down, then will share. I'll probably be able to do this at work, as if people see me writing an email no-one will likely question what I'm actually writing about!

its getting late... more later

*I'm in the corner...maybe considering/looking at both 'Time Slip Streams' & 'Alternate Realities' or changes in perceptions. Definitely brought about by something beyond our experience 'back when' though??

I think about those NOT having this 'feeling'/cum experience right now!
And...think about those having them...and wondering like us 'what to do' or how to share/reach out.

Be interesting to see if anything you might 'write down'...has 'meaning' in this search Simon.

Meanwhile...as yourself...can't put a finger on anything physically different...except on ocassion, which as you suggest is difficult to put into words. Now that statement of yours is Profound...and ironic too, since I'm speaking at PROBE about words/language as a poor way of 'knowing things'.

Keep up the search, and let me/us here know anything that 'trips your fancy' into a new understanding or clue. Thanks/'S'

yes, words / language are sub-optimal, but whilst intuitive flashes and direct telepathic sharing of information are 'better' they are also too rare for us to rely on them.

I suspect that many people who did notice something thought they they were 'sort of' hallucinating and shrugged it off.

busy day at work, will try to complete compiling notes about dreams tomorrow. If I don't fall asleep again... (need an earlier night tonight!)

Simon

ps: not sure if I can make it to Blackpool for the conference. Its not a financial issue, rather that other people have made arrangements for me to be elsewhere. Sorry, its a right pain.

*UNDERSTAND Simon,
...The idea was for you to be my guest. If you're 'around'...just ask for me at the desk-I'll leave word, and I'll come out to you. Call yourself 'Simple Simon'...will get a laugh...good people, but I'll get the message. Who knows, maybe your 'other people' might let you off :)

Ge some sleep...besides rest it brings 'things'...as you know. Best cheers/'S'
