I'm just a simple man, but I've researched this topic (ET LIFE) for a long time and spoken to many 100's of people about it over many years. The following of course represents my opinion but I hope that I can present it in a way that some common points of undeniable logic will come through.
Firstly, to correct a long overdue misunderstanding....
A "UFO" is just anything in the sky you cannot Identify, for a variety of reasons. Unidentified Flying Object(s).
A bird seen through mist, a plane to high up, a piece of space debris falling to earth..all are UFO's if you cannot identify them, by default.
As I often say "People see UFO's all the time, but very few people see Ships from other Planets."
So for those who say "there are no UFO's!" you can laugh and smile and realize they did not get it.
However I would say that it's important at the outset that we distance ourselves from such vague terms that have not really served us well. We are not trying to study things in the sky we cannot ID (UFO's)..it's about ships from other planets and the people inside them or controlling them.
Now to get into the meat of it...
It's critical as a researcher to keep in mind that there is and has been a great deal of very active disinformation concerning the true nature of the People from other Planets who visit earth and their intent...which has existed since almost the very beginning.
This is because Money and Power are the most addicting things on this planet and those that wield them will behave as any addict would, do whatever it takes, to keep their "drug" and get more. History shows us this time and time again yet the problem still exists today. We allow addicts to rise to positions of control and then decide our fate.
People also like to write books for money and stories change over time by themselves. All of those combined make for one confused modern fairy-tale, where each and every new story told is woven into some sort of insane, off-color tapestry so that another set of books can be sold, another lecture hall can be filled as well as the pockets of the teller..truth be damned.
Because of these factors it's virtually impossible that we have moved closer to the truth since the first modern contact events in the early 50's. I would say that it's only possible that we have moved farther away.
If we compare the original contact reports and events in the 50's to modern reports we see virtually no connection except where people borrow from others and become coat-tail writers.
A good example of this is the story of the MIB first written of in the book "They knew to much about Flying Saucers" 1956, by Gray Barker. If you compare the very first, original account to the menagerie it's been changed into over time (by the above factors) you will see no resemblance.
This is true in many areas of the topic of ET life.
So why would the story change over time? Well, because that is the nature of Counter Intelligence.
You see, the "Officials" could not hide the fact that 1000's of people all over the US (at first) and the rest of the Planet were seeing ships from other planets in large numbers and that some people were being contacted outside of military channels. So they did the next best thing. They confused the issue, they flooded the information streams with similar but conflicting data and tried to obscure the point of origin for the original accounts. They dragged in the Psychic Fringe, the Hoaxers, the Woo Woo's, the Comedians
In short they made the topic stink so bad that nobody wanted to touch it and those that did often ended up researching something that did not even exist.
In order to work around this we must use counter-counter intelligence..which means to go as far
back in the current cycle as you can to try and find the original works and then trace the time line
forward. Where the story starts to skew is usually where the disinformation kicks in.
Lastly let me just add....
The subject of people from other planets visiting our planet is a most difficult one to study. Not for a lack of information, but an overabundance of disinformation. It is indeed difficult to "separate the wheat from the chaff" but I urge you all forward in this. It is the most important subject on our world today and worthy of your best efforts.
