Right off. Where do I stand on this whole magilla? Well you folks…take a hike thru 'Google' on Dr. Leir…look at his pictures of Alien implants he claims to have removed. Make up your own minds. Myself…I can't see a damned thing outside normal tissue or imbedded objects which can occur naturally…and I'm a trained Surgical Nurse among other things. On the other hand…I'm SURE there are implants 'out there'....but from very Human 'Verichip' and such technology. Maybe Dr. Leir could FIND THEM.
There are reasons for this view. True ET 'implants'...if they even existed...wouldn't be EASILY recognized…if found. Second…'they' wouldn't be so big/gross…AND STRUCTURED/RECOGNIZABLE…as the ones removed by Dr. Leir and his team. Third…ET technology is much more Sophisticated & beyond, having to control…keep tabs…on someone by 'funky' bodily implants. Forth…and no reputable Laboratory has come out with any CONFIRMING data/reports of supposed Alien implants as such which isn't vague, misleading, or confusing.
No documentation has EVER been released even suggestive of a 'found' implant. Was Dr. Leir 'taken in'/used by these 'Government' type labs…to affirm some agenda of their own? Fifth…'we' have implants/spychips/RFID's/et al…no bigger than a 'grain of sand'. ET's are WAY ahead of this type of surveillance and controls over us. Even ADVANCED 'Nano tech. stuff would be more up ET's street than these 'claimed' ET implants. Inter-Dimensional Entities would be using neural downloads by HIGHLY undetectable standards. They would be using Neural 'Frequencies' and 'Hypnotic'/subliminal science far beyond anything 'we' could fathom. They would/could produce 'Manchurian Candidates' etc...from a distance, not a CLUMSY material having to be inserted into a body at some point.
Whitley Streiber/'Unknown Country' & author of 'Communion', gives FUZZY accounts of himself being 'implanted'. Dr./PhD Richard Boylan...says he's implanted. They have made a 'Living' from such claims. Makes them unique/speaking with some vague authority. Neither of these 'Figures' would submit to 'surgical removal & examination' of their alleged 'Implants'. I think the given reason is 'We like them'...they 'enhance us'. Drivel.
Time for you readers/members to take your own look and measure things for yourselves. Oh…ET's/Aliens/UFO'/AND Abductions are REAL alright…'knowing is better than merely believing'. But, this issue of ET implants…that's another story./'S'

Doctor Roger Leir:
He and his surgical team have performed TEN surgeries on alleged alien abductees. This resulted in the removal of Eleven separate/distinct objects suspected of being alien implants. These samples have been scientifically investigated by some of the most prestigious laboratories in the world. Their findings have been reported as baffling. Very little documentation or reports have been forthcoming or widely disseminated.
Dr. Leir has also written books on his 'Alien' implant removals…shows his slides at UFO Conventions, and is generally well received on such talk circuits.

Dr Leir has headed two surgical teams that have removed several suspected alien inplants from over 12 separate individuals. The resultant findings have attracted worldwide attention.
Dr Leir has also investigated Mr Gary Lowry case were it is alleged a claw was left behind after Mr Lowry had an unusual experience. This is what Dr Leir had to say about the evidence left behind "this is bigger than any other case and provides more physical evidence than any other."
Dr. Leir has conducted a worldwide study of infant growth, and has uncovered statistical anomalies in developmental trends that he believes can only be accounted for by some form of 'outside intervention'.
Dr Leir became interested in the idea of alien implants in 1995, when he decided to attend a UFO convention near LAX. There, Dr Leir met Derrel Sims, a hypnotherapist and self-described former CIA operative, who had been investigating purported UFO abductions for 30 years.
The Houston-based Sims displayed…what he said were x-rays of a supposed abductee's foot, showing two unexplainable objects in the big toe. Dr Leir said 'I was intrigued by the evidence Derrel presented and being familiar with foot radiographs, I thought it was indeed a coincidence I was there'.

THE CRITICS/SKEPTICS ARGUMENT:
The 'implant' myth has largely collapsed. Everything That remains is a blind belief…even by many in the Ufology field. As we know…Implants/removals are still firmly out there in popular belief. But, even Whitley Streiber has, in Confirmation, admitted that his own much-publicized 'implant' was nothing unusual, let alone alien. You hear little of implants, now, from Hopkins, even Dr. John E. Mack before his recent death, or Jacobs.
A retired GP, Trevor Jordan…who previously looked critically at Sims' claims of alien fluorescence
The encapsulation of the foreign matter in a 'dark gray shiny membrane' consisting of 'a protein coagulum, hemeosiderin granules and keratin'…are considered to be naturally occurring.
A ferrous/iron based object which has, in effect, rusted… is really no more than the tissue which develops around ANY retained foreign matter in the body. It's difficult to see how the author substantiates his claim that this combination of elements has never been seen before.
The lack of any 'fresh or resolved' inflammatory or rejection process in the surrounding tissue suggests that the foreign body had been there for some time: once it is encapsulated, the inflammation has done its job, the encapsulation membrane isolating the foreign matter from the rest of the body.
The presence of 'nerve proprioceptors' have never been/announced/found, in the deep tissues next to the bone'. It is simply a general understanding that nerve proprioceptors…if that's what they were…are virtually & universally present in all tissues.
The 'solar elastosis' (again, if it is that) is evidence of UV exposure but it is usually patchy and no significance attaches to the lesion found having been circumscribed: this is normal. It certainly does not indicate localized or circumscribed exposure to UV, otherwise we would say the same of, say, malignant melanoma which are also more common after excessive Ultra Violet exposure, yet they are also discrete lesions. Nor does it necessarily indicate excessive general exposure. Ordinary exposure to sunlight is enough to account for it…though it is more common after excessive exposure, it isn't necessarily solely due to that factor.
In conclusion, it all seems a poor piece of scientific writing which is unconvincing in its claims…that these lesions were anything other than those which might be as well explained as natural phenomena.
