Nick had 'confirmed' the Sightings and actually re-opened the whole case. But, many of the salient facts given below were not reported. We'd been given the 'very basic' facts of the 'Sightings'. Mainly the entire encounter with the 'Aliens'/ET's in the Forest was LEFT OUT. Interesting huh?/'S'

It was on 27 Dec. 1980 (at about 3 a.m.)... in and around the vicinity of the Sizewell Nuclear Power Plant in England...& two U.S. Air force run NATO Air Bases, that both a confirmed series of UFO radar trackings and multiple eye witness reports of 'strange lights in the sky' turned into one of the most credible of all 'Military Alien Encounters' took place.

Over the next two nights, a nearby forest was LIT UP with red & white pulsing lights. Air Force patrols sat about to find their origins. There were also sightings of 3 'craft' over the forested area on separate nights. Lights brought into the forest by the Military, their hand held radios, & other electrical equipment (i.e. cameras)...ALL failed!

The LIGHTS seemed to meander through the forest, as if teasing the patrols. And, then they suddenly vanished or went out. Immediately overhead were the 3 brightly lit 'CRAFT'. A bit later these vanished/popped out...and again a pulsing light was seen in a forest clearing.

It was a shinning round object surrounded by shimmering mist. At that moment a flashing red light zoomed into the scene & HOVERED. There was a blinding bright light, which terrified the patrol, & then a large PYRAMID object appeared in the place of the object on the ground. Near to, but definitely outside of the 'pyramid craft', 3 E.T.'s were Hovering in mid air...according to several later anonymous 'military' witnesses.

On to the scene came an RAF Officer. He was a Wing Commander named Gordon Williams. Oh yes…'we' even have his name! He had gestured to his troops to bring forward a box of 'something' for the E.T.'s. It had just been flown in from an American base in Germany.

Interestingly...many of these facts LEAKED out, even the now 'famous' voice Tape recordings by Security personnel 'on the actual scene' in the Forest at the time.

Newspapers got them, & the British Parliament asked many questions about it. Of course...for 'National Security' reasons the story was covered up. How's that for Government-Alien LIASONS? /'Sweeps' **

Nick Pope...on our interview Radio Show...does explain that 'cover up' alright. Everyone at the bases knew about the 'Lighthouse'...and how dim it is from the base view...and too familiar to be mistaken..hah/'S'

Colonel Charles Halt's audio recording of the Rendlesham/Bentwater UFO incident. You can clearly hear Col. Halt talking about an heat source coming from the centre spot, were I presume, the ufo left it's impressions on the forest floor.

When Halt mentions returning to base he says "the object decides to still beam lights down to the ground."

Many thanks for that great AUDIO link...tells some story huh? What's not revealed in this whole episode...is the actual meeting wiith the ET's from the craft. It came back a second night...and an American Colonel presented the 'Aliens' with a certain 'black box' which had been flown in from Germany for them. This is still a part of the undisclosed/'hush hush'...part of the tale.

...Not from Nick Pope. He won't be drawn on this...still has to 'watch out' for 'The Official Secrets Act'. No...got this from friends who flew with the 'Black Box' crew from Germany. They were not aware/no idea what was in the Box. Didn't even know about it until landing/etc. Why was it in Germany? Their story...eventually...was that, they speculate, it was from a crashed disc there. Maybe the ET's wanted it back or some exchange was 'set up'. About all I know at this point, but the FACT that Nick refused to respond to any questions about ET contact 'in the Bentwaters Scene' is indicative enough that there is still a lot withheld. SO! Stay crazy huh?...Thanks/'S'

Yes, Nick Pope does have to watch he doesn't break the official secrets act, or he may get a knock on the door in the middle of the night from some men dressed in black with shade's on...I think Nick Pope knows that.

I've often wondered why they returned a second night; having something they wanted is certainly a plausable answer to that question...one Ive not considered before. Thanks for that.

London, Jul 9 (ANI): For years, Britain's biggest UFO mystery had been kept under wraps, but now an Air Force official has admitted that an "extra-terrestrial" craft did visit the air base at Rendlesham Forest in 1980.

Former Deputy Base Commander Col Charles Halt claimed that even though the incident was later covered up, "extra-terrestrials" had been the cause of the close encounter in Suffolk.

Halt had led a group of airmen who reported seeing a triangular UFO taking off into the air, leaving traces of radiation behind.

"The UFOs I saw were structured machines moving under intelligent control and operating beyond the realm of anything I have ever seen before or since," the Daily Star quoted Col Halt, now retired, as telling investigator Gary Heseltine.

"I believe the objects that I saw at close quarters were extra-terrestrial in origin," he said.

He added that the Air Force later issued "dis-information" to throw the public off the scent.

His comments were hailed as "sensational" by former Ministry of Defence UFO investigator Nick Pope.

"This may help us to finally solve Britain's biggest UFO mystery," Pope said.

"It blows the MoD's line that these events had 'no defence significance' out of the water," he added.

Its a shame that the truth was not told at the time - would have made life a lot easier... now I wonder how many other such incidents have yet to become known publically????

-Can't agree with Sweeps more Simon-Joke,
