THE SCOT at the centre of the only UFO police inquiry in British history has died, aged 89. Forestry worker Bob Taylor was 61 when he had this Historic encounter...it was a 'mind blower'. A very unique experience in UFO lore.
The 'area' today is marked still by bent over trees...away from the UFO 'Touch Down SITE'.
Read the 'Replies' to this topic for more information.
Thanks to Seth for adding photos of the Site as it looks currently./'S'

I've done some giggling, but to no avail. I'll have a search on google Earth for Dechmont woods to see if I can see any circular patches with no growth.

Ok you 've got it - Fresh from your roving reporter

http://www.geocities...t/Dechmont.html

Ok no sunshine but a breezy hike of over a mile from the car park
and there it was - about ten years since my last visit so the trees are now a little bit bigger
but still showing that 'leaning away' from the area.

They are higher quality pictures -so right click and download for better view :)

There's certainly some strange tree growth in the lower trunks and I don't think we can put it down to the competing for light. The angle of the trunks would have been formed when the trees was still saplings and they all look about the same age, so light competion can be ruled out. I'm no botanist though..

Thanks for posting the pics' Seth.

*YEP Seth,
...You extended yourself for 'those shots'.Hard to make out all the significant implications...but 'sure looks like strange growth'.
This was an odd tale though...where 'he' was actually attacked by 'robot like spheroid sentries'. Fascinating. Thanks for all your efforts here. Keep watching the skies in your new locale. Carry on/'Sweeps'

STRANGE GOINGS ON

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinbu...ast/6521149.stm
A flock of red sheep have been entertaining motorists driving past a business park in West Lothian.

About a mile from Dechmont law in the same locality of the second landing site.

"another landing site about a mile from the first this one was from about 1998
