WHAT'S SO BAD ABOUT THE 'OVER ALL GOOD FEELING' AND ILLUMINATION?
-ASK THE ONE WORLD REALITY VIEW CONTROLLERS-
By 'Sweeps' Fox…from his book: 'Kicking The One Reality Habit'

Secretly, we all want to be left alone and not be bothered by government. There's a great (inborn?) brash sense of vicarious identification and real pleasure in rooting for the 'underdog'. He/she seems to reflect our truer inner-self and dreams...the cultural rebel, hero, and stuff of neo-myth so desperately needed.

Government will retort that 'the system' we have now, while far from being ideal, is still the best there is of all types of government. That's as far as their 'terrestrial bio-imprinted' left side of the brain can take them. One step past this is a flight into the high country...where we leave our 'linear' automaton behind. It's the next jump in evolution, and one who's era is now moving its' shadow over us and pulling us all beyond the trapped Euclidean reality. Boundaries are dissolved.

Whether by accident, or desire, or by reaching a stage of reflective thinking one first encounters a 'peeled back'- reality breaking- peek at the other side (and the 'more')... it's like pushing a reset button. A whole new 'game' opens up. It's a washing over in freshening, and tells one 'at once' that there is more to things than previous life exposure has ever given.

Not once in a Catholic (or any other fixed belief system) upbringing had it ever been suggested that all the cornerstones of that belief were arrived at through debate, conflict, and controversy...that it didn't appear magically on the table complete from 'heaven'. All systems instilling a fixed mind set impose fear. How else could people be made to accept philosophies, ways of life, or myths that limit examination and imagination? Cultural 'bullying' is necessary to close one off to other possibilities. 'You're really going to get punished for doing/thinking that way'. 'You're going straight to Hell ya know'.

A world without fear? How about a different early framework. 'We are not really sure...but'. 'You can believe what you want, but this is what we believe'. I don't think so. We won't get liberation and libertarianism from the establishments. It's called power...over us and all 'creation'. Institutions are the beneficiaries of our fear. We're kept in place to serve them.

My stock question to those espousing or evangelizing fixed single channel indoctrination is 'How long have you been thinking this way'? It's meant to be provocative, a strange question that might linger for them as a teaser...having never had that subtle half-humorous confrontation before. It would turn out, if they had any self insight at all, that they hadn't been actually thinking at all...merely following. It probably had little effect, if any, but that's what iconoclasts, teachers, Buddha's, and crazy people like myself attempt anyway...open up opportunities for people to accept questioning. Cracking ones robotic casing is not harmful to health.

Exploring 'inner space' opens up all space, and the limitation of words is understood. Oh yes, there are suggestions that human consciousness of self was originally triggered by the intake of Nature's naturally occurring drugs in the first place. Place your bets. We are not creatures of our cultures.

On reaching high plateau's of consciousness...'things', puzzle pictures, bits of multicolored light, patterns, shapes, and whole arranging universes speak 'ideas', moods, and concepts to you...without words. Ideas and holistic feelings of 'knowing' without words, and yet intimately understood. Something alters which allows the right mental frame to take it all in. It (reality) is 'sharper' then ever you have conceived of before...'as if' your intelligence, grasp, appreciation, empathy, and curiosity has indeed been 'elevated'. It's not stuporous and dull. The new (or found) dimensions of self are not rooted in density. That's why such explorations have been labeled as 'raised' or 'enhanced' consciousness by advocates and 'users'.

Such flights confirm the terribly slow plodding of ordinary life and its grounding in the mundane. It 'shows' the human potential to us.

It's effect is akin to (and reflected in) the difference between thought transference, as known in telepathy, and having to speak in words. Talking and having conversation is soooo slow. It takes 'forever' to make a point (if one can), communicate ideas so they might be apprehended, or to express what one is feeling. In fact, speaking is inadequate to do any of those things with any precision and certainly not perfectly...and it requires long winded repetitious sentences and huge amounts of time. With telepathy there is instantaneous and complete transfer of information and mood. It is 'sharper' and more...it is fulfilling. This example is meant to illustrate a comparable (of the same order) relationship to the degree of higher consciousness one can achieve in passage through the high country.

Ingestion of particular psychotropic drugs (hallucinogens) produces certain features which can ( usually) be abstracted. They can be enumerated according to dosage for an average 'taker', but no two people respond or have the same 'highs' or experience in the same way. Remarkably, we're all individuals...what a discovery!

'Lift off' with a moderate to large dose of an hallucinogen begins with a subtle feeling of light headedness. It progresses, in fairly set out stages abstractly, to a peace of mind which could be described as a sense of well being...feeling 'good'. There follows a sense of perceptual attention to altered and new imagery...where one 'floats' into and around in scenes of unusual colors, designs, and landscapes. They may be called 'illusion', but so is the stuff of 'ordinary' life...one finds out. One's emotions tend to become more vivid...the reason for 'guides' and pre-preparation stableness.

Most 'trippers' experience euphoria or serenity, but it all depends on the individual personality and one's own cultural influences and belief systems...your state of mind and development. It's an educational and teaching thing about oneself and how far along the path of life's spiritual growth one has come. What 'really' happens is quite contrary to feeling 'doped', impaired, or toxic. I fly in the face of all reports, from deep personal experience and after working with dedicated others, of hallucinogens damaging or impairing ones' senses. Thousands report feeling 'marvelous'. We never hear about them.

The actual experience galvanizes ones' senses to an immediate and undeniable understanding that it is a powerful and important 'crossing' into potential. How? Far from being 'clouded' or 'out of it', one's senses actually become alive...some for the first time. Your senses become MORE aware and sensitive. The 'one reality' becomes simply irrelevant and enfeebled compared to the awakening of the senses. There is a sense of great energy in a pleasant easy way. The one standard of TIME itself is vaulted and no longer perceived in a linear way. There are spectrums of colors never visualized before and indescribable in words. Senses have been liberated and feel as though, until the 'trip' they had been housed in heavy gloves or dense clothing. The new 'realism' casts the ordinary as merely a poor computerized cartoon.

Onward stages are positively sensational...if never experienced before in any form of semi-trance, meditative experience, or sensory deprivation-isolation states in one's life. One starts losing ego. It's not frightening. There is a sense of dissociating from one's personal identity and more of a feeling of 'oneness' with nature and the Universe. One is involved in 'the All'. It's a sensation of feeling 'removed' from judgments and detached from the competition, of worldly affairs and merging with the whole of existence. When one's 'ego' starts diminishing, strangely and conversely, one's consciousness starts expanding. It's so transcendent that it defies word descriptions. And these are only baseline features, but even with individual factoring there seems to be an over riding unity which is sought...if one senses the overall experiences of multiple 'trippers'.

All of the foregoing dynamics, one should note, are also experienced by mystics, practitioners of Hatha Yoga, Shamanism, Tantric Buddhism...without the taking of hallucinogens. Many of those starting out on the drug route have since gravitated to non-drug teachings and practice to continue their inner (and outer) quest... but their 'enhancement' started with 'trips' (and seeking) through their resort to 'inner freedom'.

Make no mistake, no amount of cultural grounding or shaking can awaken the mass of humanity. Participation in routines of the 'one world view' can not awaken the sleeper. It is the cause of narcosis, and in many cases outright coma. Some are put to sleep early and can be re-stimulated to wakefulness by propitious (often non-voluntary) events in their lives like 'peak experiences', non-ordinary 'out of the blue' happenings, synchronicities that they follow up on, a blow on the head...liberating some faculty, a near death experience, an unexpected astral projection, a serious illness from which they recover with new insight, a special teacher that comes to them, UFO encounters, delving into occult literature and follow up, trance state abilities, psychic episodes, introduction to marijuana and other substances, or being in the company of those with higher consciousness...the fallout or contact benefit. Almost anything outside the pale of ordinariness can contribute to a rousing of latent consciousness. It can also be suppressed and stamped out quickly if not earnestly pursued. Too many ignore or block the significance of non-ordinary events in their lives...or rationalize and intellectualize them. When the seed has been planted...they dig it up instead of letting it sprout and grow./'Sweeps' Fox
