Well, Mosab Yousef...the son of one of the 'Founders of Hamas'...has LEFT both 'Hamas' and 'Islam…and has also converted to 'Christianity'. And, as many of your Members/guests KNOW…all Religions are 'tarred with the same brush'. They want 'power and control/predictability' over YOU. Too bad Mosab Yousef hasn't figured this out yet. …But…the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, one of the most influential leaders of the militant group, said the organization betrays the Palestinian cause and tortures its own members.

Yousef said he was indoctrinated at an early age to use violence to challenge Israeli control in the region. As a teenager he moved up within the organization and became the leader of the radical Islamic Youth Movement that fought Israeli tanks and troops in the streets, celebrated suicide bombings and recruited young men to the cause.

Mosab Yousef, 30y/o, said he realized the true nature of Hamas and radical Islam during a stint in an Israeli prison. He renounced his Muslim faith, left his family behind in Ramallah and converted to Christianity.

'Islam is not the word of God', said Yousef. 'If you want to be offended it's your problem. But you know something? Go study. Think for a second that I might be right. So wake up, look at your path, see where you're going. Are you really going to heaven with 72 virgins after you kill yourself and kill another 20 people'?

Yousef has sought asylum in the United States and now attends an evangelical Christian church in San Diego, Calif.

'The Hamas leadership, including my father, they're responsible; they're responsible for all the violence that happened from the organization. I know they describe it as reaction to Israeli aggression, but still, they are part of it and they had to make decisions in those operations against Israel (for) which there was the killing of many civilians'.

MOSAB HASSAN YOUSEF: When asked…if he believes that Israel can ever strike a peace deal with Hamas?

Replied…'there is no chance. Is there any chance for fire to co-exist with the water? There is no chance. Hamas can play politics for 10 years-15 years…but ask any one of Hamas' leaders, 'Okay, what's going to happen after that? Are you just going to live and co-exist with Israel forever?' The answer is going to be no … unless they want to do something against the Koran. But it's their ideology and they can't just say 'We're not going to do it.' So there is no chance. It's not about Israel, it's not about Hamas: it's about both ideologies. There is no chance'.

...Know about all 'the rounds' that have to be made for people to 'wake up' and Finally be free in all this. That's a way off yet.
What I really find distasteful is the pro-poor Palestinean whimps/'Bleeding Hearts', for a people 'held hostage' by their own leaders but can't/ever see the light about their false heritage nor have the 'guts' to fight back against them. The way for the 'Palestinians...is to free them from 'Hamas'...the oppressors. That's what the 'Bleeding heart' pacifist nudniks don't understand. Then...there's the whole International support for an Israeli 'Pull Back'/cum 'Truce' before Victory. Even calls for a UN 'Peace keeping force' is irrational and supportive of an Israeli defeat. The UN Peace Keeping Forces NEVER kept the peace...in a 'War Zone'. In fact the UN has always supported 'Terrorists' by Doing Nothing...and cowardly looking the other way. We know about 'The Security Council'...as impotent and 'Puppets' of dividing world factions.
Best to let this 'campaign' in Gaza smash Hamas and let the world see them for what they are...Religious fanatics & 'Arse hole' HIVE mentalities.
There are NO TIMES ever...when fighting for Freedom & protection of ones 'Homeland' should be traded for 'Security'. Let those in Europe/America/& the rest of the world stay out of this. Mosab Yousef at least had the insight/'balls' to see from the inside...the corruption/terrorism/hypocrisy of Hamas...and set himself on the hard path of 'telling others' to seek 'Freedom' from the despots/controllers of their and their families lives/'S'

The Palestinians and other Arabs in general are very good at deluding westerners who see their suffering and automatically assume that it has to be Israel's fault. These same (often left-wing) Western 'do gooders' do not take the Palestinians to task about the rockets they are sending over to Sderot (etc) in Israel.

Israel simply had to act last week, as not only had Hamas decided to end their phoney cease-fire (I say phoney because they were still sending rockets even during the so called 'cease'-fire) but they were now able to reach the facility at Dimona, where a rocket strike could result in the whole of the area becoming radioactive.

As a former Israeli Prime Minister once said, "peace will come when the mothers love their children more than they love their guns".

Some people are likening Israel's treatment of the Palestinians to how the Nazis treated people during WW2. But the Nazis did unspeakable things such as use prisoners for experimentation where anaesthetic was replaced with restraining clamps - so that the unfortunate victim was in extreme agony. Whilst the Israelis do not always behave like angels I've never heard of them doing this - not even to captive solders / terrorists.

After a lifetime of living in a virtual war zone, I can understand why the Israelis always react with ferocity. Its called 'self-survival'.

...There is something terribly strange about those with 'Liberal Mindsets'. They CHOOSE to overlook Hamas and other Terrorist groups...Hiding their 'AMMO'/Rockets/instruments of war/etc. in Shools/Mosques/Hospitals/Populated areas among their own people, and then SCREAM and Jump about Civilian and Children Collateral killings.
