Call your Congressman on this or be forced to eat at McDonalds !

This bill is sitting in committee and I am not sure when it is going to
hit the floor. One thing I do know is that very few of the
Representatives have read it. As usual they will vote on this based on
what someone else is saying. Urge your members to read the legislation
and ask for opposition to this devastating legislation. Devastating for
everyday folks but great for factory farming ops like Monsanto, ADM,
Sodexo and Tyson to name a few.


I have no doubt that this legislation was heavily influenced by
lobbyists from huge food producers. This legislation is so broad based
that technically someone with a little backyard garden could get fined
and have their property siezed. It will effect anyone who produces
food even if they do not sell but only consume it. It will literally
put all independent farmers and food producers out of business due to
the huge amounts of money it will take to conform to factory farming
methods. If people choose to farm without industry standards such as
chemical pesticides and fertilizers they will be subject to a vareity
of harassment from this completely new agency that has never before
existed. That's right, a whole new government agency is being created
just to police food, for our own protection of course.

DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, READ THIS LEGISLATION FOR YOURSELF. The
more people who read this legislation the more insight we are going to
get and be able to share. Post your observations and insights below.
Urge your members to read this legislation and to oppose the passage of
this legislation.
Pay special attention to
* Section 3 which is the definitions portion of the bill-read in
its entirety.
* section 103, 206 and 207- read in it's entirety.
Red flags I found and I am sure there are more...........
* Legally binds state agriculture depts to enforcing federal
guidelines effectively taking away the states power to do anything
other than being food police for the federal dept.
* Effectively criminalizes organic farming but doesn't actually use
the word organic.
* Effects anyone growing food even if they are not selling it but
consuming it.
* Effects…anyone producing meat of any kind including wild game.
* Legislation is so broad based that every aspect of growing or
producing food can be made illegal. There are no specifics which is
bizarre considering how long the legislation is.
* Section 103 is almost entirely about the administrative aspect of
the legislation. It will allow the appointing of officials from the
factory farming corporations and lobbyists and classify them as experts
and allow them to determine and interpret the legislation. Who do you
think they are going to side with?
* Section 206 defines what will be considered a food production
facility and what will be enforced up all food production facilities.
The wording is so broad based that a backyard gardener could be fined
and more.
* Section 207 requires that the state's agriculture dept act as the
food police and enforce the federal requirements. This takes away the
states power and is in violation of the 10th amendment.
* There are many more but by the time I got this far in the
legislation I was so alarmed that I wanted to bring someone's attention
to it.


Didn't Stalin nationalize farming methods that enabled his
administration to gain control over the food supply? Didn't Stalin use the food to control the people?

Last word...... Legislate religion and enforce gag orders on ministers
on what can and can't be said in the pulpit, instituting regulations
forcing people to rely soley on the government, control the money and
the food. What is that called? It is on the tip of my tongue..........

I haven't read any of the Senate's versions of the bill as I have been
poring thru the House's version. Here is the link and I hope some of
you can take a look and post your observations and insights below. One
thing I am pretty sure of is that very few if any Senator's have
actually read the legislation and when it comes up for a vote they will
more than likely take someone else's word on how they should vote. The
other thing I am pretty sure about is that the legislation was probably
written by lobbyists and industry experts.

1. Contact your members at 202-224-3121 and ask them to oppose HR
875 and S 425. While you are at it ask them if they personally have
read the legislation and what their position is? If they have not read
the legislation ask them to read it and politely let them know that
just because other representitives are not reading the legislation and
voting on it does not mean they can do the same.

2. Get in touch with
local farmers and food producers by attending a local farmers market
and asking them how business is. 3. Attend a local WAPF meeting, this
is a good start to learning about what is going on in farming and local
& state initiatives.

You WILL be 'glad to know'-The U.S. Government is anticipating fallout from their actions on this. One of the
things discussed by Congress in their closed-door session last March was
civil uprising from us. They even discussed where Congress and their
families would hide out when this happened.

Every day we hear of more and more rights being taken away. We know that
the government wants the big corporations to control all food. The
corporations are easier to oversee than the little farmer...well, the
corporations mostly control the government. I encourage everyone to grow a
little garden of your own in your back yard.

A little 4' by 4' plot will feed your family and be very manageable.
I have suggested that people who know how to grow gardens begin a business like a lawn business only they prepare the soil and create little backyard gardens for people.

I think…
many people would love to have a little garden but do not know how to go
about creating their own. People who think the government is working in
their favor and who are waiting for them to fix things, who in the heck do
you think is responsible for all this mess? Well, actually, it is we who
are responsible because we allowed the government to have this power.

Know that if they control the food supply, they control US.
Things will only continue to get worse every day until people stand up against
this crap.

People who do not think there is a conspiracy abound are foolish.
Everywhere there are conspiracies. It will serve people well to learn to
identify them.

We have been ranting and raving for years about the abuses of the USDA
and the Federal Government against small farmers and people who would
actually like to eat real healthy foods without all of the additives and
commercially inflicted hormones and growth additives. Every piece of
processed food you put into your family's body is allowed to be altered
by the Government to make it more profitable for the large corporations.
Most of these additives are horribly wrong for the human consumer . They
induce more production in the animals, more fat, more steroids, more
antibiotics and less actual nutrition. We are being slowly murdered and
if not dying our brains are being affected by these additives. Our
children are suffering from diseases that were unknown 30 years ago.

Their intelligence is being reduced! Allergies , ADD, ADHD, and on and
on. We are allowing the government to make Zombies out of us.

With the lack of healthy foods and the TV constantly keeping us
entertained so we don't think about the very important things we should
be thinking about we are slowly slinking into oblivion. A vast pit we
will not be able to dig out of.

Just take a pill you will be ok?

Keep the Drug industry healthy!

Watch TV for only a few minutes and you will see dozens of ads for all
kinds of cures (not cures but only medications which will alleviate the
symptoms of illnesses) mostly with side effects which are worse than the
actual illness or disability.

Did you ever wonder why there are so many ads for Viagra? Could it be
that the males in our world now are being sterilized and impotent on
purpose? If a persons body has to have help to have Normal Sex then
something is definitely wrong. From all of the ads you would think that
Sex is the main reason to live? When did it become the most important
factor in a relationship?

I can guarantee you that the small farmer, organic farmer and gardener
that raises their own food does not have this problem. You won't see any
Viagra on their night stand. Their only problem would be they are bone
tired from actually working all day. They also don't need sleep aids to
fall asleep at night.

Keep on feeding your babies formula, it is good for them and soooooooo
easy. It also is made of mostly SOY which was prescribed for me during
menapause to help my body make more estrogen? Now if it does that for my
body why wouldn't it do the same in children? Males with low testosterone…
means a society that is docile and easily controlled.

Ever notice that…
it is the women who are actually getting out and fighting more so than
the men now? (I am not talking about the farmers who are not consuming
vast amounts of Soy every day. Those men seem to have no problems being
a male.) I am not putting all the blame on Soy but it could be a part of
the problem. What ever happened to Mothers' milk? Goat's milk?…even the
old baby formula your Grandmother made on the stove out of evaporated
milk, water and a little plain Karo syrup?

cheery cereals with cartoon characters on the box when, inside, high
fructose corn syrup is all over the cereal and it comes from Bt-corn

diabetes here even among children.

They know how to package. Why do people…
understand that industrial food inside a box can be a problem and yet are so
innocent about looking at the bills, not realizing there is packaging there,

Understanding parts of the bill at times depends on smelling smoke as you
read it. Here in the US, we still have only smoke ... an Ohio state ag
department SWAT team raid on an organic coop, Pennsylvania ag department
raids on horse and buggy Mennonites, California setting coliform levels so
low fresh milk dairy farmers would need cows that produced pasteurized milk
right out the udder, arrest and handcuffing of a single mother in front of
her children for selling goat milk, the USDA paying its agents bonuses for
foreclosing on farms.

But in the EU where 60% of the Polish farmers are…
now gone because of identical bills enacted into law there, and 60 UK
farmers have committed suicide…there is fire.

And in Iraq, where they have…
been rendered helpless serfs by the theft of their country's seeds and
criminalization of farmers' collection of their own seed, it is roaring.
And in India where 182,000 farmers have committed suicide since the WTO and
IMF got hold of agriculture and our Big Ag firms went in there, and 8
million farmers have left the land…it is out of control.
