*'Sweeps' NOTE:
…What a beautiful/heart rendering success story. Susan Boyle got her chance finally at 'almost age 48' on a British Talent Show. This 'Chunky'/overweight lady…most unlikely of contestants…has now HOPEFULLY got/secured her REAL 1st chance for her dream of becoming a 'Professional Singer'. She sure Charmed, sang, and used her uncanny common Witty nature…to THRILL the audience 'on a Global scale'. See for yourselves with these two Videos. 'I Dreamed a Dream'. More power to her/'S'

*YEP…Susan Boyle also…astonished ALL the judges on a television talent quest with her extraordinary voice & is NOW taking the internet world by storm. She should have been written off…because of her appearance and proved everyone wrong with her angelic voice and strength of character. Should give all the rest of us HOPE/'S'

*'Sweeps' NOTE 2:

Oh YEAH gang…just had this lovely addition forwarded to me. Nice one.

SUSAN BOYLE'S 'CRY ME A RIVER' SONG FROM A CD MADE IN 1999 FOR CHARITY…Her 1st ever recorded song…'EXCLUSIVE'/'S'

*Right Seth,
...AND here's what David Icke has to say about 'Susan' in his latest Newsletter:

The David Icke Newsletter Goes Out On Sunday

I played the clip and within a minute or so I was blubbering uncontrollably. I still can't watch it all these days later without the tears pouring down my face. I can't help it - and I don't want to help it. I find it very cathartic.

So many emotions, personal and collective, are unleashed from their years of captivity whenever I see this so-called 'ordinary woman' walk onto the stage amid the laughter, the giggles and the rolling eyes, and just give it to them ...

... One of the other extraordinary aspects of the Susan Boyle performance was how quickly the audience changed their reaction - point of observation - when she confounded their pre-conceptions by the sheer power and beauty of her voice.

To complete the 'package' of pre-conceived ideas (programming) they all waited for her to open her mouth and for a karaoke cackle to deliver the cat's chorus. You can feel them almost wincing in anticipation at what their ears were about to endure.

Part of the initial counter-reaction was the shock at what they actually heard, but something much deeper followed and it was well expressed by Amanda Holden. It was a wake-up call. Rarely have pre-conceptions been so immediately and profoundly trounced as they were that day in Glasgow.

One clip alone of the performance on Youtube had passed 12 million hits the last time I looked and it has had a massive impact because it says something that people need to hear, and, in truth, want to hear.

It says there is no such thing as a nobody and that includes you, whoever you are. It says do not judge yourself or others by the standards and filters that you are programmed to worship by a system with a fundamental self-interest in dictating the way you see the world.

*Dublin...Yeah Seth,
...Good place for that, and looks like you're in 'good League' with David Icke too. Susan Boyle's over night success does touch 'that nerve' which 'good music' can deliver. She's unbelievably...now OVER 20 Million 'YOUTUBE' Hits. Must have touched lots of folks. Best regards/'S'

...Put up another 'Goodie' Video of the LADY..3rd spot on the 1st Topic page.
She walked out onto the stage looking like an 'ordinary person'. A bit overweight …Unemployed and 47-years of age and therefore, of course, 'past it'. And, she said she wanted to make it as a singer (yeah, right!)/'S'

I wish her well, as she obviously has a great voice. Until she had been heard I suppose that many would have judged her by her physical looks, and this is an excellent example of why books should not be judged by their covers. Alas, I can sometimes fall for this too.

Her double chin reminds me of a former grandmother, although her hair still being black makes her look younger than 'grandmotherly age'. Which I suppose is a very naughty comment, as a lady of 47 is old enough to be a grandmother.

The latter comment means that I am also old enough to be a grandfather, as I'm just a year or so older than her. But there is no chance of me emulating her vocal success, because as much as I would like to do so such is impossible. From the age of 5 I was being told to not sing - although it was only when I was a teenager it was explained to me what it means to be tone deaf. This was when I was thrown out of the school choir.

-Hi Simon,
-Sing out LOUD and clear to yourself, you know the 'FEELING' even if it offends others. Sing in the shower, in the halls, in the house. Enjoy anyway. Lots of people in 'sing fests' are tone deaf too...but doesn't deminish their participation/happiness about 'singing' anyway. The beat goes on-in your head. Just 'don't give a dam' about what others think. Some people aren't 'tone deaf', but are lousey singers. You hear them everyday on the radio/CD's/movies/etc. Let it all hang out-but thanks for sharing your 'problem'. Many 'Cheers'-Captain :)

well Susan has now recorded an album and on the radio earlier today I heard one of her songs.

I wish her well, and hope that even if she does not become a multi-millionaire she will at least have financial security for the rest of her days (or until money stops being of value).
