Hello everyone,
I know this sounds somewhat crazy, but I really do wonder if I had Swine flu last week...
Last Tuesday afternoon I noticed the start of a sore throat which lasted for over a day, during which time I also developed classic symptoms such as are all too common for people who have a cold or flu, albeit in this case apart from the sore throat everything was fairly mild.
Since I hardly ever succumb to the flu (its always 'mild' for me - I cannot remember the last time I was ill enough to take time off work, even as a schoolboy being unwell and taking time off hardly ever happened) so the fact that the stated symptoms of Swine Flu are said to be mild make me wonder even more.
But there is something else which is 'very bizarre' and has really made me sit up / take notice and wonder ... On Monday night I had a dream which included a piglet living in a house (as a pet) of some relatives who have now passed on, and during the dream this little piggy became unwell - I cannot ever recall dreaming of pigs before, let alone pigs / other animals which become unwell.
So, was it a message for me? Maybe I'm just becoming paranoid? or delusional in my dotage (I 'turn' 50 later this year). I suppose that short of a blood test I'll never know.

ps, in the dream the front garden was also being dug up 'in a straight line' from the front door, which I assumed to be to lay new water pipes, but might have been something else.

...Dreams, yeah very strange things. There is SO much 'Pig/Flu' worldwide Scares & Vibes out there...especially with the WHO raising the Pandemic level to 6-the 'HIGHEST' alert...that it's no wonder you're 'picking up on all that' even in your dreams. Don't forget that the water/or pipes in the dream could simply be related to your recent visit to/and consuming the water of 'The Chalice Well'. So, your Dreams are indeed scrambling all that together in some mosaic.
About your 'not feeling well/sore throat' etc...The main sign/symptom/indicator to look for/be aware of, is a fever, at least a borderline higher body temperature following a cough/sore throat/other fluish feelings. If the Fever was missing...then not to worry.
My my...'getting on in age'? Hmmm...it's ALL relative you know. Sure you'll 'do it' gracefully too. Anyway, all the best with your latest Job Interview coming up. Think/have a 'hunch' that you'll do well...but won't really like the job. Let us all know and a big thanks/'S'
