Hello everyone,
For a few weeks leading up to Christmas and until just after the start of the new year, there was a German-style Winter Wonderland fayre / fair in London's Hyde Park.
One afternoon I visited this event and took some video, and now 10 minutes of edited highlights has now been placed on youtube - for your joy and delight.
Although it starts with the funfair railway this film also looks at some of the other fun attractions there, including the merry go rounds, hobby horse rides, tea cup rides, ghost train, big wheel, freefall drop, the singing reindeer and much more. As this is a fun video I've also added a little (inane) commentary too.
Pure family entertainment - a break and a rest from the doom, gloom, politics, paying of bills, and general 'pains' of normal life.
Filmed at twilight and after nightfall using a digital camera which has 8bit mono sound.

Thanks for posting this. There is always something special about Christmas. I am living on my own, just me and the dog, and I I have no religious hang-ups. But I usually put up a Christmas tree in the house, just to keep the old traditions alive.
