Some people suggest that this is part of the build-up to a planned currency reset, which could also explain why Obama and Brown have allowed the nations they control to run up such large debts. This reset would also see people only allowed to swap 'legitimate' old currency for the new, by which I mean that cash stored in suitcases under the bed which was sourced from 'cash' jobs would become worthless (unless it could be proven to have been sourced legitimately) as would counterfeit currency. Also, its probable that the new currency will only be electronic, so that every transaction will leave leave an audit trail. RFID smartcards such as used in many towns and cities globally point to how we will all be spending money after this reset.

I've waited until late evening to send this, because it has nothing to do with todays' date.

It's Official - America Now Enforces Capital Controls

It couldn't have happened to a nicer country. On March 18, with very little pomp and circumstance, president Obama passed the most recent stimulus act, the $17.5 billion Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act (H.R. 2487), brilliantly goalseeked by the administration's millionaire cronies to abbreviate as HIRE. As it was merely the latest in an endless stream of acts destined to expand the government payroll to infinity, nobody cared about it, or actually read it. Because if anyone had read it, the act would have been known as the Capital Controls Act, as one of the lesser, but infinitely more important provisions on page 27, known as Offset Provisions - Subtitle A—Foreign Account Tax Compliance, institutes just that. In brief, the Provision requires that foreign banks not only withhold 30% of all outgoing capital flows (likely remitting the collection promptly back to the US Treasury) but also disclose the full details of non-exempt account-holders to the US and the IRS. And should this provision be deemed illegal by a given foreign nation's domestic laws (think Switzerland), well the foreign financial institution is required to close the account. It's the law. If you thought you could move your capital to the non-sequestration safety of non-US financial institutions, sorry you lose - the law now says so. Capital Controls are now here and are now fully enforced by the law.

Let's parse through the just passed law, which has been mentioned by exactly zero mainstream media outlets.

Here is the default new state of capital outflows:

(a) IN GENERAL.—The Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting after chapter 3 the following new chapter:

''CHAPTER 4—TAXES TO ENFORCE REPORTING ON CERTAIN FOREIGN ACCOUNTS
''Sec. 1471. Withholdable payments to foreign financial institutions.
''Sec. 1472. Withholdable payments to other foreign entities.
''Sec. 1473. Definitions.
''Sec. 1474. Special rules.
''SEC. 1471. WITHHOLDABLE PAYMENTS TO FOREIGN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.

''(a) IN GENERAL.—In the case of any withholdable payment to a foreign financial institution which does not meet the requirements of subsection ( , the withholding agent with respect to such payment shall deduct and withhold from such payment a tax equal to 30 percent of the amount of such payment.

Clarifying who this law applies to:

''© in the case of any United States account maintained by such institution, to report on an annual basis the information described in subsection © with respect to such account,
''(D) to deduct and withhold a tax equal to 30 percent of—

''(i) any passthru payment which is made by such institution to a recalcitrant account holder or another foreign financial institution which does not meet the requirements of this subsection, and

''(ii) in the case of any passthru payment which is made by such institution to a foreign financial institution which has in effect an election under paragraph (3) with respect to such payment, so much of such payment as is allocable to accounts held by recalcitrant account holders or foreign financial institutions which do not meet the requirements of this subsection.

What happens if this brand new law impinges and/or is in blatant contradiction with existing foreign laws?

''(F) in any case in which any foreign law would (but for a waiver described in clause (i)) prevent the reporting of any information referred to in this subsection or subsection © with respect to any United States account maintained by such institution—

''(i) to attempt to obtain a valid and effective waiver of such law from each holder of such account, and
''(ii) if a waiver described in clause (i) is not obtained from each such holder within a reasonable period of time, to close such account.

Not only are capital flows now to be overseen and controlled by the government and the IRS, but holders of foreign accounts can kiss any semblance of privacy goodbye:

''© INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE REPORTED ON UNITED STATES ACCOUNTS.—
''(1) IN GENERAL.—The agreement described in subsection ( shall require the foreign financial institution to report the following with respect to each United States account maintained by such institution:
''(A) The name, address, and TIN of each account holder which is a specified United States person and, in the case of any account holder which is a United States owned foreign entity, the name, address, and TIN of each substantial United States owner of such entity.
''( The account number.
''© The account balance or value (determined at such time and in such manner as the Secretary may provide).
''(D) Except to the extent provided by the Secretary, the gross receipts and gross withdrawals or payments from the account (determined for such period and in such manner as the Secretary may provide).

The only exemption to the rule? If you hold the meager sum of $50,000 or less in foreign accounts.

''( EXCEPTION FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS HELD BY INDIVIDUALS.—Unless the foreign financial institution elects to not have this subparagraph apply, such term shall not include any depository account maintained by such financial institution if—
''(i) each holder of such account is a natural person,and
''(ii) with respect to each holder of such account, the aggregate value of all depository accounts held (in whole or in part) by such holder and maintained by the same financial institution which maintains such account does not exceed $50,000.

And, while we are on the topic of definitions, here is how "financial account" is defined by the US:

''(2) FINANCIAL ACCOUNT.—Except as otherwise provided by the Secretary, the term 'financial account' means, with respect to any financial institution—
''(A) any depository account maintained by such financial institution,
''( any custodial account maintained by such financial institution, and
''© any equity or debt interest in such financial institution (other than interests which are regularly traded on an established securities market). Any equity or debt interest which constitutes a financial account under subparagraph © with respect to any financial institution shall be treated for purposes of this section as maintained by such financial institution.

In case you find you do not like to be subject to capital controls, you are now deemed a "Recalcitrant Account Holder."

''(6) RECALCITRANT ACCOUNT HOLDER.—The term 'recalcitrant account holder' means any account holder which—
''(A) fails to comply with reasonable requests for the information referred to in subsection ( (1)(A) or ©(1)(A),
or ''( fails to provide a waiver described in subsection ( (1)(F) upon request.

But guess what - if you are a foreign Central Bank, or if the Secretary determined that you are "a low risk for tax evasion" (unlike the Secretary himself) you still can do whatever the hell you want:

''(f) EXCEPTION FOR CERTAIN PAYMENTS.—Subsection (a) shall not apply to any payment to the extent that the beneficial owner
of such payment is—
''(1) any foreign government, any political subdivision of a foreign government, or any wholly owned agency or instrumentality of any one or more of the foregoing,
''(2) any international organization or any wholly owned agency or instrumentality thereof,
''(3) any foreign central bank of issue, or
''(4) any other class of persons identified by the Secretary for purposes of this subsection as posing a low risk of tax evasion.

One thing we are confused about is whether this law is a preamble, or already incorporates, the flow of non-cash assets, such as commodities, and, thus, gold. If an account transfers, via physical or paper delivery, gold from a domestic account to a foreign one, we are not sure if the language deems this a 30% taxable transaction, although preliminary discussions with lawyers indicates this is likely the case.

And so the noose on capital mobility tightens, as very soon the only option US citizens have when it comes to investing their money, will be in government mandated retirement annuities, which will likely be the next step in the capital control escalation, which will culminate with every single free dollar required to be reinvested into the US, likely in the form of purchasing US Treasury emissions such as Treasuries, TIPS and other worthless pieces of paper.

Congratulations bankrupt America - you are now one step closer to a thoroughly non-free market.

Obama is the symbol of a creeping liberalism that has infected our society like a cancer for the last 100 years. Just as Hitler is the face of fascism, Obama will go down in history as the face of unchecked liberalism. The cancer metastasized to the point where it could no longer be ignored.

Average Americans who have quietly gone about their lives, earning a paycheck, contributing to their favorite charities, going to high school football games on Friday night, spending their weekends at the beach or on hunting trips - they've gotten off the fence. They've woken up. There is a level of political activism in this country that we haven't seen since the American Revolution, and Barack Obama has been the catalyst that has sparked a restructuring of the American political and social consciousness.

Think of the crap we've slowly learned to tolerate over the past 50 years as liberalism sought to re-structure the America that was the symbol of freedom and liberty to all the people of the world. Immigration laws were ignored on the basis of compassion. Welfare policies encouraged irresponsibility, the fracturing of families, and a cycle of generations of dependency. Debt was regarded as a tonic to lubricate the economy. Our children left school having been taught that they are exceptional and special, while great numbers of them cannot perform basic functions of mathematics and literacy. Legislators decided that people could not be trusted to defend their own homes, and stripped citizens of their rights to own firearms. Productive members of society have been penalized with a heavy burden of taxes in order to support legions of do-nothings who loll around, reveling in their addictions, obesity, indolence, ignorance and "disabilities."
Criminals have been arrested and re-arrested, coddled and set free to pillage the citizenry yet again. Lawyers routinely extort fortunes from doctors, contractors and business people with dubious torts.

We slowly learned to tolerate these outrages, shaking our heads in disbelief, and we went on with our lives.

But Barack Obama has ripped the lid off a seething cauldron of dissatisfaction and unrest.

In the time of Barack Obama, Black Panther members stand outside polling places in black commando uniforms, slapping truncheons into their palms. ACORN - a taxpayer-supported organization - is given a role in taking the census, even after its members were caught on tape offering advice to set up child prostitution rings. A former Communist is given a paid government position in the White House as an advisor to the president. Auto companies are taken over by the government, and the auto workers' union - whose contracts are completely insupportable in any economic sense - is rewarded with a stake in the company. Government bails out Wall Street investment bankers and insurance companies, who pay their executives outrageous bonuses as thanks for the public support. Terrorists are read their Miranda rights and given free lawyers. And, despite overwhelming public disapproval, Barack Obama has pushed forward with a health care plan that would
re-structure one-sixth of the American economy.

I don't know about you, but the other day I was at the courthouse doing some business, and I stepped into the court clerk's office and changed my voter affiliation from "Independent" to "Republican." I am under no illusion that the Republican party is perfect, but at least they're starting to awaken to the fact that we cannot sustain massive levels of debt; we cannot afford to hand out billions of dollars in corporate subsidies; we have to somehow trim our massive entitlement programs; we can no longer be the world's policeman and dole out billions in aid to countries whose citizens seek to harm us.

Literally millions of Americans have had enough. They're organizing, they're studying the Constitution and the Federalist Papers, they're reading history and case law, they're showing up at rallies and meetings, and a slew of conservative candidates are throwing their hats into the ring. Is there a revolution brewing? Yes, in the sense that there is a keen awareness that our priorities and sensibilities must be radically re-structured. Will it be a violent revolution? No. It will be done through the interpretation of the original document that has guided us for 220 years - the Constitution. Just as the pendulum swung to embrace political correctness and liberalism, there will be a backlash, a complete repudiation of a hundred years of nonsense. A hundred years from now, history will perceive the year 2010 as the time when America got back on the right track. And for that, we can thank Barack Hussein Obama.

Capitol locked down in wake of threats

State workers and visitors to the Nevada Capitol were surprised Wednesday morning to find all but the front door locked and metal detectors for both packages and people set up at the entrance.

The Capitol was locked down late Tuesday after the FBI advised the governors of all 50 states they would be receiving letters from an extremist group demanding their resignations.

The letters advises those governors that, if they don't resign, members of the group will come and "commandeer" their offices. It was received by the Capitol Police at noon Monday and immediately turned over to FBI investigators.

The letters are apparently from an organization allied with Sovereign Citizens, which the Anti-Defamation League identifies as a collection of anti-government groups advocating an anarchist ideology. Its followers believe every level of government in the United States is illegitimate and should be eliminated. One of the ideology's adherents was Terry Nichols, accomplice of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

The Department of Public Safety could not be reached for comment on the situation.

Lynn Hettrick, Deputy Chief of Staff to Gov. Jim Gibbons, said the decision by the governor's office and Public Safety was to "err on the side of caution" and implement tough security measures since the Capitol houses offices of not only the governor but lieutenant governor, secretary of state, controller and treasurer.

Not only were six of the seven doors into the building locked down, a buildings and grounds crew used heavy equipment to strategically place large boulders at the ungated entrances to the Capitol grounds, blocking vehicles but allowing pedestrian access.

Hettrick said Nevada apparently wasn't singled out, that every governor's office in the country received one of the letters.

It certainly looks like things are hotting up... lets hope they remain peaceable - although I suspect that a time will come when people will stand up to say NO and as a result will find themselves the target of armed action.

'Though the claims of racist epithets against Lewis and other congressmen drew a lot of media attention, witnesses say they never heard such language and YouTube videos have surfaced that show protesters booing and shouting "Kill the Bill" but not shouting the n-word'.

And, of course, I was proven right. Since then, Andrew Briebart (http://bigjournalis m.com/) has offered $100,000 for proof that the N word was yelled out like the Democrat congressmen claim. Numerous videos and audios have been examined and no such incident took place.

No one has gotten the $100,000 yet. And no one will. Once again -- more liberal lies.
Expect more of the same in the months to come.

Following sensational news stories claiming the Guardians of the free Republics threatened state governors around the country in letters demanding they leave office or be removed, the FBI has today warned police around the country that the letters "could provoke violence," according to the Associated Press.

Investigators do not consider the letters threatening or see threats of violence in the Guardians of the free Republics message. However, according to the Associated Press, the FBI believes the organization's call for removal of top state officials in its Restore America Plan may lead others to act out violently.

'While there does not appear to be a credible or immediate threat of violence attached to the letters, we're working with state and local authorities to continue to assess the matter', said FBI Special Agent Joseph Dickey of Las Vegas. The letters are from a "sovereign citizen extremist group" and that those groups "reject all forms of government authority," said Dickey. He said those groups don't believe they have to pay taxes or obey federal, state or local laws.

'As of Wednesday, more than 30 governors had received letters saying if they don't leave office within three days they will be removed, according to an internal intelligence note by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security', the Associated Press reports.

An individual identifying himself as D. Merlin Campbell contacted the Nevada Appeal earlier in the week and denied that the Restore America Plan intends to use violence to accomplish its objectives. According to Mr. Campbell, the letter received by the governor of Nevada and other state officials around the county is actually a Declaration from a lawful Grand Jury of 26 people in each state which is endeavoring to re-establish the true Republic in a peaceful
and lawful manner.

It does not represent a 'threat' from an 'extremist' (as is commonly associated with 'terrorist' (in the media today) group but instead it is a real, legally binding document which is presented by a Grand Jury of regular people which declares that the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, controller and treasurer all must have lawful oaths of office in order operate in their respective positions. The bonds which they all operate under have been effectively seized and noticed to be null and void. The package includes the following; Declaration, Warrants, Orders to the Governors, General orders to the military. It is not a threat, it is a truth that must be complied with or there will be consequences, not of violence, but legal recourse.

A comment posted on the Appeal's website describes the Guardians of the free Republics plan as "a bold achievable strategy for behind-the-scenes peaceful reconstruction of the de jure institutions of government without controversy, violence or civil war."

Is it possible the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security will exploit the Restore America Plan in order to stage a false flag event that will be subsequently blamed on the patriot movement?

It is now almost certain the FBI set-up the Hutaree group in Michigan by inserting agents provocateurs who encouraged violence. The corporate media then orchestrated a hysterical campaign designed to insinuate that the Tea Party movement shares the Hutaree's anti-government philosophy. The sensationalized raid in Michigan followed a week of corporate media propaganda claiming racist Tea Party activists had assaulted Democrats in Washington as they prepared to vote for the Obamacare bill in Congress.

As Infowars.com and others have demonstrated, the accusations had absolutely no basis in fact. The effort was part of a larger campaign designed to portray the patriot movement as extremist and potentially violent. For months now, CNN, MSNBC, and the corporate media at large – taking their talking points from the SPLC and the ADL — have argued that opposition to Obama and the unconstitutional expansion of the federal government represents the ascension of a dangerous white supremacist and militia movement in the United States.

The Department of Homeland Security under the leadership of both Bush and Obama set the stage for the current hysterical campaign with its now notorious report on "rightwing extremism." Missouri and Virginia contributed to the effort in separate reports characterizing Ron Paul supporters and other patriots as potentially dangerous domestic terrorists.

In addition, it appears the government plans to use anarchists to disrupt Tea Party demonstrations on April 15. Agents provocateurs masquerading as anarchists have disrupted peaceful anti-war and anti-globalist demonstrations in the past (most notably in Ottawa where they were exposed as police infiltrators and rabble-rousers). The pattern is now familiar – anarchists engage in minor property damage and other theatrical acts and this provides riot police with an excuse to brutally attack peaceful demonstrators. It is uncertain if this tactic will work with the Tea Party demonstrations.

It also remains to be seen if an 'extremist' group under the control of government agents provocateurs will exploit the Guardians of the free Republics letter in order to engage in violence. A red alert, however, should be issued and members of the patriot movement need to be on the outlook for suspicious activity within their ranks.

It is certain, however, that the government is looking for the right situation in order to crack down on the patriot movement. The establishment is infamous for staging fake terror and criminal events as a pretext to take drastic action against those who oppose their plans.

Finally, Obama publicly named two of his more prominent enemies on CBS today. This is highly unusual. Presidents never mention their foes by name as this has a tendency to lend credence to them. Not even Nixon named his enemies in public. Obama's comments may mean nothing. On the other hand, he may have issued a warning to those who oppose him. It is interesting to note he mentioned Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, who are in essence shills for the establishment. The breach of etiquette, however, should be taken as a warning to those Obama does not name but are generally associated with the patriot movement and often linked to Beck and Limbaugh, however erroneously, by the corporate media.

But will the Illuminati get their way? Rumour has it that the Bilderberg gang is on retreat for the moment. Their "man-made global warming" circus backfired, and so did the Euro, their model for a new world currency, a stepping stone to the worldwide cashless society they have been trying to force down our throats.

I am cautiously optimistic. I believe we have a chance ridding ourselves of the tyranny of our own government and those murky internationalists controlling national governments from behind the scenes.

Sweeps, for the benefit of those of us who are not American and do not follow US party politics as closely as our own domestic politics, maybe you can explain who the Tea Cup party are?

It seems to me that they are a new poltical party - neither Republican nor Democrat. Am I correct? If so it helps fulfill something the webbots predicted about neither main party doing well at the recent elections and TPTB becoming very alarmed by this as it means that they do not control (some of the) people in power.

The webbots seemed to predict this, with the political system going into meltdown amid accusations of fraud... (I assume by both main parties).

*I LAUGH Simon...'Tea CUP Party'? Actually it's simply 'Tea Party'. The whole MOVEMENT is based on the famous 'TEA PARTY' in Boston prior to the American Revolution against British Rule...when people were so incensed about 'ANOTHER BRITISH TAX ON TEA PRODUCTS' that they banded together and DUMPED the Tea Cargo from the heavily ladened ships from British Companies into the SEA/Boston Harbor. It was an act of 'Patriotic Protests' against the British acting again against the Colonialists....without any say from them. The whole American Revolution could have been summed up with the slogan 'TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION IS TYRANNY'. The 'Revolt' came on the back of the British 'Stamp Act'...raising tax/price of 'stamps', and other ACTS on alcohol/lamp oil/Hemp/etc. which infuriated the 'People'. The dumping of the Tea (a Party) was 'the last straw'. So this recent resurgence of the use of 'Tea Party' refers to that incident and the abuse of power against citizens without any consent from them. It's a volitile-Citizen movement against BIG GOVERNMENT.

A small step into the right direction. But it would be better for the Tea Party people if they would separate themselves completely from the Republican Party and neo-con politics. Don't let's forget that Glenn Beck, now acting as Tea Party spokesman, supported the 'Patriot Act' and the bail outs. Beck also publicly ridiculed Ron Paul and the "birthers". I wish Sarah Palin would get off the fence letting us know where she stands. In Texas she supported Governor Perry (an establishment figure) against the Conservative Libertarian challenger Medina. Then she went to Arizona to support Judas McSwine (John McCain), a neo-con and the worst Republican presidential candidate since Bob Dole. Sadly, I can no longer see a clear demarcation line between the Tea Party folks and the GOP neo-cons.

I saw on Kerry Cassidy's blog (Project Camelot) for yesterday Saturday 13th that Obama had a very rough ride at the G20 (plus other things I'm not mentioning)

The point is that things were baaad with the shrub at the helm and people really did want change - and Obama's message ('yes we can') seemed to offer just that.

It did not help that many thought that the Presidential candidate the Republicans were offering was short tempered, in less than the best of health and someone who would expand upon his predecessor's warmongering, eventually plunging the whole planet into an apocalyptic global war.

So, when the choice for the top seat is between an ass and a donkey, is it any wonder that the winner ends up being a mule??

Maybe the American political parties need to look again at who they choose as candidates?

Gender and skin colour are NOT the issues, although that said it beggars belief that someone who has no idea about even something as simple as global geography would even be considered as a potential candidate. Being able to see Russia from one's front yard is all 'very nice', but there is more to the global arena than that!

Maybe though, those who would be suitable candidates are too aware of the term 'poison chalice' and are far too understanding about corruption and big business vested interests... so wishing to live more than at most 3 years (this being about the longest time it would take assasin's bullet to find them) would rather not have the job.
