The chakras and meridians which form our energy and balancing pathways have a distinct analogy to the ‘Ley lines’ of energy pathways in the Earth itself.
It is the coiled and ready to rise serpent power through the chakras of the human body, which provides both for physical and spiritual growth...which is thus of wisdom.
It is also of the coiled sense of the maze of the self, which must be gone through ‘inwardly’ to achieve spirituality and enlightenment. It’s the ‘opening up the depths of mystery and personal power’.
It is of the creative and energizing. Kundalini (serpent spinal power), Yoga (Yoga meaning ‘Union’) and other forms of meditation is the use of mind power energy through the different centers (Chakras) of the body...ascending or descending...to achieve and make use of ‘vital’ energy (or ‘Chi’) and even psychic powers.
It promotes, as the Hippie’s would say, the same RUSH one gets from certain drug taking...but it does it through breathing and relaxation techniques. The ancient ‘art’ of Reiki works at a very deep level to release ‘blocked energy’ in the body’s chakras, promotes relaxation, releases built up stress, and harmonizes body energy centers, our Aura, and meridians.
These ‘techniques’…merely brief examples of mind over bodily form and one-reality limitations…and understandings have been richly documented and attested to.
